Ja siellä kaikilla oli niin mukavaa! / We all had so fun!

Origamikurssilla siis oli mukavaa. Tampereen työväenopiston origamikurssi toteutui vihdoinkin, taitaa vanha sanonta "kolmas kerta toden sanoo" pitää paikkansa. Yhteensä kahdeksan oppitunnin ajan perehdytin ihmisiä origamin saloihin, kovasti kuulemma tykkäsivät. Eikä ollenkaan haitannut vaikka kaihileikkaukseenkin oltiin odottamassa, paperia oli vain päästävä taittelemaan. Opetin nämä taittelut (these origami works) ja pari muutakin, kyllä ne ainakin opetuspäivinä saatiin taiteltua.

Seuraavat origamikurssit pidän v. 2016 keväälläTampereella tammikuussa (peruskurssi, suurinpiirtein saman sisältöinen kuin nyt pidetty) ja huhtikuussa (jatkokurssi, sisältöä esittelen myöhemmin) sekä Lempäälässä talvilomaviikolla ehkä lähinnä koululaisille tarkoitettu kurssi. Siis pidetään jos riittävästi osallistujia löytyy.

We had fun with origami lesson. The origami course in Tampere adult education center finally came true, two times before this we tried to get enough people to be interested, and this third time was success. All together eight hours I taught how to origami, and people liked it very much. Even if one person had cataract and could not see very well, she still wanted to learn origami, and quite well she did, actually. I taught origami works which I have earlier presented here in my blog (see the link above), and a couple of others, too.

Next origami lessons will be here in Tampere in January (about the same as this one which I just had) and in April (a little bit more difficult than this one). In addition to these I'll teach origami in Lempäälä, too, on week 9 mostly the school children will learn how to origami. These lessons will come true if we'll find enough people interested in origami.

Origamia opettamassa - Teaching origami

Marraskuussa 2014 oli paikallisessa ilmaisjakelulehdessä artikkeli senhetkisestä origaminäyttelystäni. Pappilankylän palvelutalon kädentaitojen ohjaaja näki artikkelin ja ilmeisestikin kiinnostui aiheesta, koska hän etsi minut käsiinsä marraskuun käsityömessuilta ja sovimme että tulen heidän asiakkaitaan opastamaan origamin alkeisiin. Viikolla 11/2015 sitten kävin innokkaita seniorikansalaisia opettamassa. Niin innokkaita osallistujat olivat, että halusivat mukaan vaikka aina ei näkö ollut enää hyvä, sormet jäykät tai oli pakko käyttää hansikkaita kun sormenpäät olivat kuivat ja/tai haavoilla.

Kolmen tunnin aikana opeteltiin kuinka origamityönä tehdään helppo lehti, hortensian kukka ja kellokukka neliöstä, kolmiosta ja 5-kulmiosta. 

Piti tämä juttu tallentamani blogiin jo viime viikolla, mutta flunssan jäljiltä hieman tokkuraisena unohdin koko asian. Parempi myöhään kuin ei ollenkaan.

On November 2014 local free newspaper published an article of my origami exhibition that month. The instructor of handicrafts in Pappilankylä sheltered home saw the article and obviously was interested about the subject, because she came to see me at the handicraft fair in November and we agreed that I'll come to teach their customers in origami. On week 11/2015 I went there and found very keen senior citizens waiting for teaching. They were so keen, that some of them came even they could not see very well, their fingers were stiff or they had to use gloves because their finger tips were so dry and/or wounded because of dryness.

During three hours I taught them how to make with origami technique an easy leaf, hydrangea flower and bell flower of a square, triangle and pentagon.

I was supposed to update this text into my blog already last week, but because of a flu I was a little bit groggy and forgot to do it. But a little bit late is better than never.
