Hyvää joulua ja onnea Uudelle Vuodelle 2017! - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2017!

Tekemäni pajunoksista sidottu puu (tytär sanoo senmuistuttavan puita Tim Burtonin elokuvassa "Päätön ratsumies") koristeltuna helmistä ja pulleista origamitähdistä tekemälläni ketjulla, led-valoilla ja "spinning star" -origamitähdillä.

The tree I have made of willow branches (my daughter says it is just like the trees in Tim Burton's movie "Sleepy Hollow") decorated with a chain made of pearls and origami lucky stars, led lights and "spinning star" origami stars.

Jätevuoren laskijaiset -tapahtuma / Reducing the waist mountain -event

Tampereen Sampolassa (Sammonkatu 2) järjestetään lauantaina, 6.2.2016 klo 11-15, Jätevuoren laskijaiset -tapahtuma, jossa minäkin olen mukana esittelemässä omia, kierrätyspaperista tekemiäni origami- ja muita paperiaskarteluja. Ainakin noita kuvissa näkyviä, mutta myös muita töitäni on esillä. Mainostan samalla kävijöille 1. ja 8.4.2016 pidettävää origamikurssiani. Kaikenlaista muutakin tapahtumassa on tarjolla, kannattaa poiketa katsomassa jos liikutte lähistöllä.

Here in Tampere we have an event "Reducing the waist mountain" (free translation) on Saturday, Feb 6th 2016. I'll be there with my origami- and other works made of recycled paper, pictures of some works to be shown can be seen below. At the same time I'll advertise my origami course which will be on Apr 1st and 8th.
